The Litchfield Elementary School District (LESD79) has been named the second-best elementary school district in Arizona according to AZ Big Media's 2025 Ranking Arizona poll, the state’s largest business opinion survey.

The annual rankings are determined by public voting and reflect the organizations Arizonans most recommend doing business with. LESD79’s placement near the top of the list is a powerful affirmation of the district’s deep-rooted commitment to student success, educational excellence, and community trust.

“We are honored to be recognized by the people of Arizona for the work we do each day to serve our students and families,” said Dr. Carter Davidson, LESD79 Superintendent. “This recognition belongs to our incredible teachers, staff, families, and community partners who work together to make Litchfield a great place to learn and grow.”

With a new Strategic Plan grounded in Readiness, Resources, and Relationships, LESD79 continues to focus on preparing students for academic achievement and life beyond the classroom. The district serves more than 10,500 students across 16 schools in the rapidly growing West Valley, delivering a student-first approach and a learning environment that empowers each child to thrive.

This latest honor from Ranking Arizona is a reflection of LESD79’s unwavering dedication to its mission: ensuring every Litchfield Learner reaches their highest potential. The district is proud to stand among Arizona’s best and remains committed to raising the bar for public education.
